Description: Once routers have their runs in place, a bus driver will need their assigned route. This will be the culmination of runs they will execute each day. We will place runs on routes and look at how to deal with any unforeseen changes that may arise within a day.
Description: This class will focus on joining runs using transfer stops to account for a student’s travel from home to school over more than one vehicle (and home). We will use both Edulog Advanced and eSQL so even if your version of eSQL doesn’t allow the management of transfer stops, you will know what to do and where to go to do it. We will finish by looking at how student stop assignments function when Transfers are incorporated.

Description: In this session we explore various strategies used by transportation departments to gather, distribute, and utilize student-specific bus stop assignments. In addition to a detailed look at a North Carolina model, we will explore how student transportation assignments can be documented and requested via a parent mobile app or more traditional student information system interfaces.
